The short version

  • Cash Flow Mini is a tool, not advice. It helps you record and understand your own money. It does not tell you what to do with it.
  • Free for 30 days. After that the App becomes read-only — you keep everything you recorded.
  • Pro is a one-time purchase. Never a subscription.
  • Your data is on your phone, and only you can protect it. Use the backup feature.

These Terms are an agreement between you and us about your use of the Cash Flow Mini mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1 · Who we are

2 · What the App is — and what it is not

Cash Flow Mini is an educational tool that helps you record and understand your own money. Everything it shows you is a calculation based on the numbers you typed in.

It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing in it should be treated as a recommendation to take or avoid any financial decision. It does not connect to your bank and cannot verify that what you entered is correct. Decisions about your money are yours, and we encourage you to consult a qualified professional for advice about your particular situation.

3 · Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial use.

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the App; reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code, except where the law expressly allows it; remove or alter any notice of ownership; or use the App for anything unlawful.

4 · Free trial and Pro

Cash Flow Mini is free to use for 30 days from the first time you open it. No account, no card and no sign-up are required.

When those 30 days end, the App switches to read-only. Everything you recorded remains yours and remains available: you can open the App, browse every past month, correct entries, delete them, and create or restore a backup file. The only thing that requires Pro is adding new entries.

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It also unlocks editable categories with your own icons, recurring transactions, your choice of currency and number format, additional languages, and export to Excel. Export to Excel is a Pro feature and is not available during the free trial.

The 30 days are counted from the moment the App is first opened on your device. Restoring a backup does not restart the trial.

5 · Purchases, the app stores, and refunds

Pro is sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. Your purchase is governed by that store’s own terms, and in most countries the store — not us — is the seller of record. We never receive your payment details.

Refunds are handled by the store under its policy. We cannot issue, approve or deny a refund on your behalf. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact the store first; if you also write to us, we will help you as far as we are able.

A Pro unlock is tied to the store account that bought it, and can be restored on your other devices using that same account through the “Restore purchases” option in the App.

6 · Your data, and your responsibility

Your information is stored locally on your device. We cannot access it and we cannot recover it for you. If you lose or reset your device, uninstall the App, or clear its data, anything you have not backed up is gone permanently.

The App includes a backup feature for exactly this reason. Creating a backup file and keeping it somewhere safe is your responsibility, and we strongly recommend doing it regularly.

You are also responsible for the files you create with the App. A backup or an export contains your complete financial history; where you store it, and who you share it with, is your decision.

7 · Acceptable use

Use the App for your own money management. Do not use it to break the law, to interfere with its normal operation, or to attempt to obtain Pro features without paying for them.

8 · Availability, updates and changes

We may update the App to fix problems, improve it or adapt it to new versions of iOS and Android. Features may be added, changed or removed over time. We may also stop publishing the App. If that ever happens, a copy already installed keeps working for as long as your device supports it, and your backup files remain readable by you.

We do not guarantee that the App will be free of errors or available without interruption.

9 · Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the calculations, summaries or charts shown are free of error, and they depend entirely on the accuracy of what you entered.

10 · Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost data, lost profits or financial decisions made in reliance on the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11 · Rights you cannot lose

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live, and nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom, you keep every protection your local law gives you, including your statutory rights of withdrawal and conformity, regardless of anything stated in these Terms.

12 · Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

This does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence, and we may only bring proceedings against you there.

Before starting any formal process, please write to us — most things are resolved with an email.

13 · Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. We will update this page and the date at the top, and note material changes in the App’s release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
