The short version

  • We do not collect your data. We have no servers and no accounts. Nothing you type is sent to us.
  • Everything stays on your phone. Your income, expenses, categories and preferences live only on your device.
  • Files you create are yours. Backups and exports go wherever you choose. We never receive a copy.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. There are no third parties inside this app.

This policy explains how Cash Flow Mini (the “App”) handles your information. It applies to the App only. If you buy a template or browse our website, a separate policy applies there.

1 · Who we are

2 · Information we collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit or share your personal data. We operate no servers that store your information, and there is no account to create — you never give us a name, an email address or a phone number to use the App.

We cannot see your balances, your transactions, or how you use the App.

3 · Information you enter, and where it lives

Everything you record — income, expenses, categories, recurring rules, and your preferences such as language, currency and number format — is stored locally on your device, using the standard storage provided by your operating system.

It stays there. It is not uploaded, synced or backed up to us. If you use your device manufacturer’s own backup service (for example iCloud Backup or Google’s device backup), your device may include the App’s data in that backup according to their policies, not ours.

4 · Files you create: backups and exports

Cash Flow Mini can create files at your request. The App never sends them anywhere by itself. It hands them to your phone’s standard share menu, and you decide what happens next.

Backup file

When you tap “Create backup”, the App writes a file containing the information you entered: your transactions, your categories, your recurring rules, and your preferences. It does not include your Pro unlock or the start date of your free trial, so a backup cannot be used to transfer or extend a purchase.

Excel export (Pro)

The export creates a spreadsheet with your transactions so you can open them in another program.

In both cases you choose the destination: save it on your device, put it in a cloud drive, email it to yourself, or share it through a messaging app. Once a file leaves the App, it is governed by the privacy policy of whichever service or app you chose — not by ours. We never receive a copy and have no way to read it.

Treat these files like a bank statement. They contain your complete financial history in plain form. Store them somewhere only you can reach.

Restoring a backup works the same way in reverse: you pick a file, the App reads it on your device, and nothing is uploaded.

5 · Permissions the App may request

Photo library (Pro). If you choose a custom icon for a category, the App asks permission to open your gallery so you can pick an image. The image is copied into the App’s private storage on your device and is never uploaded. The App cannot browse your photos on its own — it only receives the one you select.

Files. When you restore a backup, the App asks you to pick a file. It reads only the file you choose.

You can withdraw any permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of the App keeps working.

6 · Purchases

Cash Flow Mini is free to use for 30 days. Unlocking Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your card details, billing address or any payment information. The stores tell the App only whether a purchase exists.

7 · Third parties

The App contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking technologies of any kind. No third party receives information about you through this App, other than the app store that processes a purchase if you make one.

8 · Children

The App is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 — or under 16 where local law sets that age. Since the App collects nothing at all, no child’s data reaches us. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, write to us.

9 · Your rights

Because your information never leaves your device, you already hold every right that data protection laws grant, directly and without asking us:

  • Access. Open the App — everything is there.
  • Portability. Create a backup file, or export to Excel with Pro.
  • Correction. Edit any entry at any time.
  • Deletion. Delete entries individually, or delete the App’s data or the App itself to erase everything permanently.

European Union, EEA and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR). We are not a data controller for the information you enter, because we never receive it. You retain full control at device level. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA / CPRA). We do not collect, sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

Other regions. The same holds under Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA and comparable laws elsewhere: there is no collection, so there is no processing, transfer or sale.

10 · Retention and deletion

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your data lives on your device for as long as you keep it there. Deleting the App, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes everything permanently — including from us, since we never had it. Files you exported or backed up yourself are not affected; delete those wherever you saved them.

11 · Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App’s release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
